Camping Guidelines
These Camping Guidelines have been provided by the Park Management to help everyone enjoy a safe visit.
Note: Walk-in registration may not be available during COVID-19 operations. Please call first or register on-line.

Camping at Caesar Creek State Park

The Caesar Creek State Park Campground, operated by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, offers Class A camping facilities for you and your family to enjoy the beauty of nature, the fun of the state park, or simply get away from the bustle of everyday life for just a few days or up to two weeks.

The campground has 283 shady or sunny spots. Eighteen are Full Hook Up Sites. All other sites offer electric, either 30 amp or 20 amp hookups. Each spacious camp site offers a paved pad that can accommodate at a 40 foot trailer or RV, pop-up, tent, or other camping unit, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Be advised some sites are designated as "tent only" sites. Bath houses, shower houses, water faucets, and waste drains are located throughout the campground. There is a camp store offering firewood, ice, food, and camping supplies. A dump station is available free of charge for campers and $10 fee for non registered guests. A boat ramp is located in the campground and free to use while camping. The campground offers miles of hiking trails that criss-cross throughout the campground, and it is adjacent to the state park mountain bike trail. The Little Miami Scenic Trail is a short drive away.

All campsites are pet friendly.

Winter Camping

The campgrounds at Caesar Creek are open all year but camp sites and facilities may be reduced during the Winter season, November 1 to April 1, when the campground is winterized and water is not available. ` Link to more information about Winter Camping

At Caesar Creek, all overnight camping must be in designated camp sites.

Group Camps

For Group Camp reservations, please call the Park Office M-F 8AM-4:30PM at 513-897-3055.

All group camps can be rented from 3PM until 1PM. Money is due within two weeks of making the reservation.

Day Lodge Group Camp

This camp is located near the Hopewell Day Lodge on Middletown Road off of Clarksville Road. This is a primitive camp with no bathroom or water.

Fifty Springs, Hickory Overlook, Cedar Point

These Group Camps are located off SR 73 in the Fifty Springs Picnic area. Between Oregonia Road and the Caesar Creek Bridge. They all have a shelter with picnic tables, fire ring, and flush toilets. There is no electric or water.

Wellman Meadows Group Camp

This camp is located off Oregonia Road. near the Wellman Meadows Boat Ramp. There is a shelter with picnic tables, fire ring, and flush toilets. There is no electric or water.

Horse Camps

The Caesar Creek Horseman's Camp is located on Furnas-Oglesby Road. off Ohio State Route 73 in Waynesville. The camp offers 25 non-electric sites, a shelter house, latrine, wells with non-potable water. tie rails, picket posts,

There are 25 primitive sites available on a first-come, first-served basis with tie rails and picket posts.

The camp is the trail head for five trails. Day use parking is available.

Horse Group Camp

The Horseman's Group Camp is located near the Horseman's Campground on Furnas-Oglesby Road. A pit latrine is available and horses are welcome. The camp has a picnic table and fire ring. There is no electric or water.
